4 Generations

When I was in Minnesota I got to meet my Great- Grandma Dell. She is Papa Keith's mom. She is the only great grandparent I have. I got to spend lots of time with her when I was there. Mommy told me that she had 8 kids! So, I have a LOT more people to meet in August that is for sure! 8 kids! I don't think that many would fit in our townhouse in Manassas.

Show some love!

You can all leave me comments. I set it from the beginning that you didn't need to be a member. I think if you go to the comments it will say Login and publish...but if you leave me a comment and click that button I think all will be okay. Just try it and see what it says. Mommy has lots of pictures she has taken so I am sure that I will have plenty to post in the coming days! Leave some love folks!!

It happened!

I did it! I smiled a REAL smile! Mommy always tells everyone that my smiles are just gas...well NOT ANYMORE! I smiled tons for Grandma Judy when we were in Minnesota. I smiled so much that Mommy was even able to get a picture. I have been working on them now that I am at home too. So, when I go back to Minnesota in August I get to show all Mommy's relatives how I can smile just like a big girl!

I have found my thumb!

Well it happened. I have officially foud my thumb! I realized that if Mommy is too slow with the bottle I can use my thumb or my whole fist to keep me content. At least for a little while. It isn't what I truly want, but it works and it keeps me happy for a little while anyway. Mommy likes it even better when I suck on my whole fist because it reminds her of when I was still inside of her and she saw me do that. Hmm...how did she manage that one?

Passed around

Yep...I was passed ALL around when I was in Minnesota! I was held by more people than I can even count...but I can't count so I guess that doesn't help much! BUT I KNOW it was a lot of people. At one point I just needed Mommy to hold me just so I had a little down time. I was tired from being good the whole time so as not to upset anyone. All the people were very nice to me though and I really did like being home in Minnesota so Mommy could show me off. Here are some of the people that held me. Mommy didn't take pictures of them all, but she should have! Here is Mommy's cousin's Jessica and Kyle holding me. See...aren't I being good!

Here is Mommy's cousin's little girl, Kylee holding me and then Grandma Judy and Papa's neighbor Mike. He is like a member of the family really. He was smiling really big because he thought it was great that he was holding her before his sister Amy got to! I will have to make sure that Mommy has Amy hold me when we are home in August!

That is just a few of the people, but there was also, Great-Grandma Dell, Papa, Grandma Judy, Auntie Kim, Uncle Matt, Gavin, Karen, Kathy, Cindy, Mary, Meike, Boe, Missy, Amy, Rita, Great Aunt Sheila, Cheryl, Hayley, Great Aunt Janell, Great Uncle Ken, Diane, Barb, Renee, Leah, Dawn and I KNOW there were others but I can't remember them all. LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of people held me when I was in Minnesota...I bet it was the whole state that held me!

My Cousin Gavin

WOW! I can't WAIT until I have as much energy as my cousin Gavin! I got tired just watching him! As you can see though, he did slow down sometimes. He loved holding me and showing me all the things he liked to do. He would say, "Watch me Trinity." Then he would start jumping on his bed or jumping on the couch or jumping on Uncle Matt. Hmmm Gavin jumps on everything! But I love him! He gave me all sorts of kisses and he helped Grandma Judy feed me!

I can't wait to be big like Gavin. He gets to do all sorts of neat things like all the jumping but he also plays POKER! My daddy plays poker too so I hope he teaches me like Uncle Matt taught Gavin!

I got to spend lots of time with Gavin, Auntie Kim and Uncle Matt it was a lot of fun. Mommy said that I was good help for Gavin because he will be a big brother soon! I will have another cousin...I can't wait!

Airplane Ride

I can sleep anywhere! I am even sleeping in style here. Mommy and I were in first class on the airplane. YEP! You read it right...I WENT ON AN AIRPLANE! I am only 7 weeks old and I have already been on a plane 2 times. I was a VERY VERY good girl even when we were stuck at the gate at Dulles for 2 hours! Everyone in first class told Mommy how good I was. Mommy had to keep my pacifier in my mouth while we were taking off and landing so my little ears would be okay. I slept through most of the flight though. It was pretty uneventful for me! I even got my first set of wings! The flight attendant came around and gave them to Mommy for me while I was sleeping on the seat. So of course Mommy had to put them on me and take a picture.

I bet you are wondering WHY I was on the airplane. Well, you will have to read the next blog I post for the whole story, but real quick...Mommy and I went and surprised Grandma Judy for her birthday.

World's Greatest Surprise

WE DID IT! Mommy and I pulled it off with a LOT of help from Papa, Auntie Kimmie, Uncle Matt and Cousin Gavin! I had my first airplane ride to MINNESOTA! I am not even sure where that is, but it was a long ride! You already saw the pictures of me sleeping on the plane so as you can tell it wasn't that difficult for me to make the ride. Plus, it was worth it to surprise Grandma Judy for her birthday!!
Look at this picture! Gavin was helping us with the surprise. Here is what happened. Mommy had me hiding in Gavin's bedroom and she was there with me. When they got there Gavin told her that he had a "'prise" for her birthday and it was in his bedroom. So, she picked up Gavin and in they came. This is Gavin helping Grandma open the door. Mommy couldn't get anymore pictures because Grandma started to cry and came in and gave her a big hug. So, it was a great surprise. Then Grandma Judy realized that I was there too! It was a great surprise and we had a VERY busy time while we were there. I have plenty of pictures that I will share with everyone. I just need some time. I am very tired after all my time in Minnesota. More tomorrow!

Babysitter

Yep...yesterday I had my first babysitter. I was fine with it...but Mommy didn't do so well. Mommy had a workshop she needed to go to, so Miss Josie came to pick me up that morning to take me to Miss Karen's. Mommy cried. I tried to tell her that I would be okay but I guess my grunting noises didn't make it very clear. Miss Josie and I were singing to the radio just like Mommy and I do we had a good time. When I got to Miss Karen's they were SOOO excited to see me. They even had my name on the calendar all done up with curly cues and balloons. It was great! Sam and Keightley are Miss Karen's kids. They both held me and Keightley really liked having me there; I liked being with her too because she spent the whole time with me. Mommy called while I was there a few times to see how I was doing. The first time she called though, she was frustrated. She had left her car keys in my diaper bag that was with me! She couldn't go to the workshop without them! She had to call Daddy to bring her the spare. It all worked out luckily. Around 1:00 Miss Josie came back to get me and then she took me to her place. Normally I would get to play with her son Isaiah, but he is with his Nana and Papa in New York. Guess I will have to wait. So instead I just slept for Miss Josie. I had a VERY fun day with all my new friends, but I think Mommy is pretty happy that she doesn't have to go back to work for another month. She missed me tons!

Playing with Bailey

I want to introduce you to my puppy Bailey. Mommy still calls him a puppy but he really is almost 3 years old. I was a pretty huge change for his life. Bailey used to be Mommy's baby and now I am. He doesn't get a lot of the things he got before. He used to curl up with mom on the couch all the time...he doesn't get that now. He can't even get on the couch with me now! He sniffs me all the time! He sniffs the carseat, my swing, my bouncer, my diaper bag, my blanket, my feet...EVERYTHING. He wanted to know what was going on the other day when Daddy was holding me, so he was checking things out. I reached out to touch his nose. It was WET! What is up with that? I can't wait to get older so I can play with my Bailey. I will add more pictures of Bailey as soon as Mom takes some more!

Always Happy

Okay so you might think that I am ALWAYS a happy little girl since all my pictures are of me being a good girl. I am just really good at foolin you all. Don't get me wrong 99% of the time I am a great little girl for Mommy and Daddy but there are times when I am just not lovin life. You need proof? I have proof! Of course I have proof, Mommy made sure of that.

But it only takes me a short time and I am back to my old self. I can't tell you what was wrong the day Mommy got me being cranky. Soon I was doing just fine because my daddy was holding me and all was right with the world at that moment. Trust me folks that crying episode isn't to be taken too seriously because it doesn't happen often. Grandma Judy and Papa want me to leave a crying message on their answering machine but I don't cry often or long enough to do that! I might have to do it..JUST ONCE..don't want to have Mommy start to worry it will be all the time!

Looking Pretty

Mommy just loves that I have lots of hair. So, she found this really neat website that makes hair bows for lil' puddin's (mommy calls me that, but I am not sure where it came from!) like me. http://store.abunchofbows.com/index.html this is Bunch of Bows and there are all different types of bows and headbands you can order. These little clippy's work great in my hair and they don't hurt my head at all. Mommy loves them and I even heard her tell Daddy she wanted to order more. Daddy just rolled his eyes...what does that mean? Do I GET more bows or don't I? Jeepers creepers my parents are hard to understand sometimes.

Mommy loves the headbands because they are lace that are elastic. It doesn't leave marks on my head so she knows it isn't too tight. I think she worries too much, but she's the Mommy!

Mommy Time

I get to have Mommy time everyday. Mom and I spend our whole days together. She always tells me how hard it is going to be to leave me for work in September. So, we are having fun during the summer while Mommy is off.

Yesterday Mommy took some pictures of her and I together. It was funny because a couple of them didn't turn out..Mommy cut our heads off! But we got a couple of them that turned out and just shows how much my mommy loves me...or that she "love love love" loves me as she says all the time.

Swim hat

Once again I am pretty in pink! This time however, it is with my swim hat Mommy bought me. I went to the pool last week with Miss Josie and Mommy. HOWEVER...dont' be looking for any pictures of me with my suit on...MOMMY FORGOT THE CAMERA! Can you believe that! My first swim EVER and Mommy forgets to capture it on film! Daddy was shocked! My cute little suit is hot pink and has flowers on it. It is even a two piece! So, it is definitely a MUST that I get Mommy to take more pictures...preferrably when I get to go into the pool!

So, until I get to go to the pool again, we did take some pictures of me with my swim hat on. I look pretty cute if I do say so myself. Daddy even was able to catch me in a smile with the hat on...Mommy thinks it is great!
Mommy doesn't like herself in this picture...but LOOK AT THAT SMILE! Okay so it is probably just from gas Mommy says, but don't I look cute! The hat is a little big, but I will grow into it Mommy says. She says I have LOTS of things to grow into yet. Anyway...I hear all the time from Mommy and Daddy how cute I am...and this hat confirms it! :D

World's Strongest Baby

Well...there SHOULD be a contest for the World's Strongest Baby because Daddy says I got it hands down! Mommy and Daddy have always been pretty impressed with how fast I started lifting and having control of my head. I personally thought it was normal..but Hey if Mom and Dad say it was early and amazing...well then I guess I am just that...amazing! :D HeHe...
I am lifting my head up all by myself here. I wanted to see my Daddy who just got home from work...he was teaching today at the academy...HEY...just like what Mommy does! So, I hadn't seen Daddy all day and I missed him. I like it when Daddy comes home from work though because he picks me up right away, even if Mommy is holding me! I love my time with Daddy. I love my time with Daddy so much that I make sure Mommy can't take my back...I grab hold of Daddy's chest hair REALLY hard to make sure I am secure there. Let me tell you...Daddy makes as many crazy noises as I do when I have gas! Daddy must not like it when I am holding on there, but there isnt' anywhere else to grab onto when I am on his chest! Plus, that is my favorite place to lay...right on my daddy.

Daddy got her!

Well, as I said in an earlier post, Daddy wanted some pictures of Mommy and me together. He wanted them since she always was the ones taking them. So, the other day Mommy had been feeding me and I fell asleep...as I usually do. ;) However, this time...Mommy fell asleep with me!See we are both out! Daddy thought it was great and a perfect time to get Mommy back for all the pictures she has taken of him! I am always asleep so it is okay with me! I am getting to be such a big girl that Daddy took one of just me and how big I am.

My Curls

Can you see it? Everyone has been asking if my hair has curls, or if it will be curly. Well, take a look! Mommy gave me a bath today and washed my hair...and WOW did I have curls. Mom was pretty happy about that, but I didn't see the big deal. Daddy wasn't sure how he felt about it either, but man was Mommy happy. So, I guess it is an okay thing. Of course Mommy had to take pictures of it because she said I looked so cute. Personally...aren't I ALWAYS cute! ;)

Night with Daddy

Well, Mommy finally did it. She left me alone with Daddy for more than a few hours! She was gone until really late to a concert with her friend Miss Josie. She kept telling me all day to be good for daddy and not make it difficult for him. I think I did a pretty good job of being a good girl. See... he kept me sleeping right after Mommy left. Here I am in my usually position, sleeping on my hands.

Mommy only called 2 times while she was gone at the concert. I know it was hard for her to be gone so long. She told me later that she tried really hard not to call Daddy every hour to make sure we were doing alright. I think she worries too much. Daddy and I had fun...he showed me the way to work the television. He flips and flips and flips and all he has to do is push one button. It is very easy...he taught me how to do it...I am a pro he says...I could have a career in television just like my uncle Scotty.

As you can tell Daddy grabbed the camera to show Mommy all the things he taught me while she was gone. I was already in my pj's so please excuse the way I look! Man did Daddy and I have fun. I know Mommy was worried but I was okay when she got home. I was awake, which was unusual for that time of night, but I was alive and happy! I know he has told Mommy she needs to go out more often, but Mom is still struggling with that idea. I think that she will warm up more as she sees all the fun Daddy and I have together. Daddy says not to worry, Mommy just loves me so much that she misses me tons when she is gone. I guess that is a pretty good reason...I am pretty loveable!

Photo Shoot

Well yesterday Daddy told Mommy that he wanted some new pictures. So, Mom and I had a little photo shoot. Mom has realized that I stay awake for a few hours every morning, so we took the pictures then. So, like my cousin Lucie, I was in my pajamas for a LONG time that day.

Mommy says my face is really round in this picture and doesn't show my double chin. It isn't my fault that I have a double chin it is all Mommy's fault...really it is! I wouldn't lie about that! Mom did say that I was 9 pounds now though...is that a bad thing? I was premature for heaven's sake!

Here I am being my strong little self...lifting my head up off the pillow Mommy had me laying on. This is Daddy's favorite picture and so we have been making copies of this one. I think I look pretty cute too!

Well, now Daddy wants a picture of Mommy and me on here too. Mommy of course isn't liking any of the ones that she has with me from our photo shoot yesterday because she wasn't "ready" she says...whatever that means! I am always cute! So, Mommy has promised that we will get a couple of the two of us on here soon. Daddy says I am so photogenic that it will be VERY easy for me to take a few good pictures!

Well, my tummy is telling me that it is time for Mommy to feed me so I better let her do that. You can imagine how she gets when she can't feed me when SHE wants too! ;)

Welcoming ME to the world!

Welcome to my next adventure!
I definitely made it a little difficult on my mommy to get into this world though! I was having a blast inside playing all day, but it was causing mommy some problems. So bad that they put her in the hospital! So, I tried to behave for a few days, but finally I just couldn't take it anymore and mommy's blood pressure went really high. After 2 days of trying to get me out; they finally just took me out. It was not very fun; I was very happy inside mommy! BUT...June 1, 2006 at 3:41 pm I arrived 3 1/2 weeks early and STILL weighed 7 pounds 9 ounces! I was also 19 inches long.

Mommy tells me all the time it is hard to believe that it has already a month since I was born. But it was! Here is how cute I look today! I wasn't sure that I was going to like that headband on my head...but I did! It looked so cute that I conned mommy into buying me some more even! Man do I have her wrapped up! SHHHH don't tell her!

But the person I really have convinced I am a complete princess is my daddy. Mommy takes lots of pictures of me when I am with Daddy. Here...look! A lot of the pictures have BOTH Daddy and I sleeping. Daddy just fed me here, and I was pretty tired after that. It was a lot of work!

Well, that is about it for me at the moment. Mommy is printing off some of the latest photos of me to create for gifts. So, I should probably make sure she is choosing the right ones. I have to look good you know! I'll update more soon as Daddy took pictures of me today, so I will make sure that I share with everyone!

Love, Trinity
