Snapshots

Mommy and Daddy take WAY too many pictures of me. I have been hiding my smile from them for awhile so they dont' have that caught on film other than the first time. I am sure Mommy will get me sooner or later though. Anyway, Mommy has some pictures of me on the computer that I figured I'd just show off and share because I can! Plus, I look kinda cute if I do say so myself! We are heading to Minnesota tomorrow so I KNOW that I will have TONS to post when I get back. Knowing my mom, she will take WAY too many pictures again!

The Brown's

Well, Mommy, me, Isaiah and Miss Josie went to see Miss Tina and her sons Christopher and Nicholas. They live in Waldorf, MD and Miss Tina teaches with Mommy and Josie. We had a lot of fun when we were there. Those boys sure are active. I can't WAIT until I get to be right in there playing with them. We tried to make a train of the 4 of us, but we didn't do a very good job and I started to get a little frustrated...attempting to get 3 boys doing what you want them to do isn't easy! Mommy told me that it doesn't get any easier when you are older either! ;)

Miss Tina liked holding me since she has 2 boys but I am not sure that Christopher was very happy his mommy was holding someone other than him. He sat with us whenever I was on his mommy's lap. It was okay though, I liked him.

Here is Mommy with me and Christopher again. He really liked my mommy too. It was just a very fun day. I can't wait to go back again when I am bigger and can give those boys a run for their money! ;)

I'm a lion cub!

Daddy calls me his little lion cub when Mommy holds me in a special way to make my tummy feel better. When I am fussy I really like to be on my tummy and so Mommy holds me just like this. Daddy loves it because I wrap my arms around Mom's arms and it looks like I am holding on. Really I just need a place for my arms because I trust my mom. I know I don't have to be afraid. I fall asleep like this lots. I like it the best when Mommy is standing up but sometimes she tricks me and sits down and keeps moving so I don't complain much then.

In the BIG bed!

Well, Mommy put me in her bed! I didn't like that I couldn't see what she was doing while she was getting ready from my basinette so mommy took me out and put me in her bed. It was great. I was all comfy with all these pillows and blankets. It was a little chilly in there so I am glad Mommy put the covers on me. I was just chillin...I could get used to that! See look...I was almost asleep!

Then when I was lying there watching Mommy get ready up came Daddy and Bailey! Bay decided that he needed to lay with me as well. It was a lot of fun just Bailey and I there, but Mommy was right there. See...Bay and I are both looking at her! He loves me though. He comes and sits by Mommy's feet everytime I cry or fuss. The other day he thought I was crying while I was on Mommy's lap and he couldn't figure out what was wrong. But it was a baby on TV! Mommy thought that was pretty funny!

Playing with Daddy

I have so much fun with my daddy...but LOOK AT HIM TEASING ME! He took my paci out of my mouth and I had to come and get it! Mommy tells me that he did the same thing with my cousin Gavin and my Auntie Alicia and Uncle Scotty's wedding. So, I guess this is nothing new with my daddy. It's okay...I got it back! :D Yippee for me!

Writing my blog

Wow...I tell you...it is hard work to keep up with this blog. It doesn't help any when Mommy doesn't upload the pictures from the camera for a long time. So when she finally does I have a TON of catching up to do! So, I am sorry there are so many posts here, but I am workin my little behind off to get more pictures out to you. Here I am hard at work! Actually, I was taking a break and checking out to see what my cousin Lucie was up to on HER blog. I hope you all like the pictures. I am sorry I have taken so long to update...but just blame my mom!

Happy times

As I am getting older I am awake for lots longer everyday. Mommy and I do all sorts of fun things. Today I got to help her shuck corn on the cob for her and Daddy to eat for dinner. I sat and watched my mobile in my crib today too while Mommy was putting some of my new clothes away. So, now that I am awake so much more I have some pictures of me just chillin. I am finally big enough to sit in my bouncy chair and LIKE IT. I have lots of fun in it now that I figured out I can make it move on my own!

My new friend

Mommy's best friend Josie has a little boy named Isaiah. He is one of my best friends...he has to be though because I don't know any other kids except my cousin Gavin and he lives too far away. Isaiah and I are together a lot because our mommy's are together a lot. He loves me a lot though because he is always helping Mommy and Miss Josie when I am there. He gets my pacifier for me when I need it. He hands Mommy my bottle and he is always watching to make sure I am okay when we are riding in the backseat of the car together. He is a lot of fun. I can't wait until I am older to play with all his toys!

Tummy Time

Mommy and I have tummy time EVERYDAY. I am SUPER strong now with my neck. So much so that I am starting to sit up on my own when I am propped up. I'll show you when you all when I see you next! I don't always like all the time on my tummy but I have some pretty great toys that make it a lot more fun. I like when I get to be on my boppy way more than when I have to lay on the floor. There are times that my head is just too heavy and at least when I am on the boppy and I drop my head it doesn't hurt! Oh well! I'm getting better at it.

EEKK! Half dressed!

Look at what Daddy did to me! He caught me after my bath with only half my clothes on! I was much calmer here after my bath. Mommy warmed me up and got me smelling all good with all the lotion she puts on. It was easy to calm down when she was holding me and warming me up. I just look so silly with only half my clothes on! What a silly Daddy I have! But he sure loves me, so he can be as silly as he wants to be!

Bath time

Daddy caught me in the tub! He caught me when I was crying. Don't get me wrong I really do like bath time, but I usually start to cry after Mommy washes my hair. I usually get kinda cold then. Otherwise, I love to be in the bath! Mommy tells me she can't wait until I can keep my head up all the time so that I can be in the tub on my tummy to play. Until then though, I get to sit in my little chair. I like that a lot. Tonight is bathtime! YIPPEE!

My Grandparents

I finally have enough pictures of all my grandparents to share with everyone. I'll start with my grandparents that are the farthest away. Mommy's mom and dad, Grandma Judy and Papa Keith.
They live in Minnesota where my mommy grew up. They still live in Hoffman where they moved when Mom was just a little older than me! Grandma Judy owns an accounting firm and Papa works at the high school. He taught Mommy and both Uncles Matt and Scott. That's pretty cool!

Daddy's parents live much closer to me. They live in The Plains, Virginia. They are both retired so I get to see them whenever I want. Here are pictures of me with my Granny Frances and Grandpa Charles.

Mommy Couldn't Resist

Well...close your eyes if you don't want to see me doing something a little naughty...but I didn't KNOW it was naughty! Mommy just started laughing at me the other day when she walked by me. Daddy was holding me...and well........See for yourself! 'Nuff said!! I promise I won't do this again...now that I know I shouldn't!

I'm 2 months old!!

Believe it or not I am 2 months old today! I had to go to the doctor today, and let me tell you...they are not always nice people! My doctor made me cry today and so did my 2 nurses. They gave me 4 shots! My chubby little legs couldn't take it anymore. It even took Mommy a little while to get me to stop crying. I was not a happy camper this morning. Then I started to feel icky and I had a fever so I was crying even more. Luckily Mommy already had Tylenol drops so that helped take away my fever. I got to take a long nap then. I am ready for my legs to stop hurting from those icky shots.
But...I am still 2 months old! I was 11 pounds and 11 ounces today! I have also grown 2 more inches to put me at 22 inches long! Grandma Judy said I weigh the same as Cousin Lucie but she is 2 inches longer than I am. I'm not worried...I have grown! I am happy.
