LONG hair

Yes I know everyone has always been surprised by how much hair I have...but even I didn't know I had this much!

Yes, that is right...those are BRAIDS! I went to Ms. Kelly's the other morning and I was just sitting on her lap. Ms. Kelly started to play with my hair and I didn't fuss and I let her do what she wanted. Next thing I know....BRAIDS!

I didn't really think it was that big of a deal until Mommy came to get me and she said...BRAIDS! Mommy didn't know my hair was long enough for that! I didn't want Mommy to take them out, but she said I had to because I had to get in the bathtub. Oh well, now I just have to be patient to let Mommy braid it!

Reading at 16 months

Yes, I have mastered it. I know exactly how I am supposed to............LOOK when I am reading! Mommy reads to me all the time. So, I was helping her by reading her Educator magazine to her. I was a lot of help I promise. See how into the article I was?

I did stop reading long enough to make sure everyone was listening to me.

And of course, I had to stop reading to turn the page. Mommy and I read the whole thing. I am super fast...I think I was finished in about 45 seconds. I don't know why it takes Mommy so long to read things! I must be a reading genius!

Harley Baby

Look out Daddy! Next I want a Harley! I have NO idea what a Harley is, but if it is anything as fun as my new bike I WANT ONE! Mommy got me a new bike because I LOVE the one at Ms. Kelly's. Ms. Kelly is my new daycare lady and she is the best. She has these fun bikes I get to ride on all the time. I was having so much fun the other day I didn't want to get off when Mommy came to get me!

I was kind of being a pill...I mean I was happy to see Mommy of course. I got excited like normal, but when she came to get me off the bike I was ONE UNHAPPY CAMPER! I was not liking having to leave the bike. So, Mommy promised she would look for one for me. Sure enough...she found one!

It is a ton of fun. I haven't figured out how to use the pedals yet, but I do sit there with my feet on them and pretend! But keep checking back because I am sure that I will master the pedals soon.

Shoes Shoes Shoes

I LOVE SHOES...yes look out I LOVE SHOES. But why do mine have to be so small? Everyone else gets big shoes that are so much more fun to wear and walk around in...so...I was lookin for some!

As you can see...I found some! Mommy's slippers. I LOVE them...they are so fluffy and fun to walk in.

So I have to concentrate, but I can get them on....it just takes patience.

And when it comes to putting on Mommy's slippers I have PLENTY of patience! SEE!

Balancing Act

Well, I LOVE to sit on things. Now that I have learned how to sit on things by myself and back up to them....I like to sit on everything. Even things that move and aren't always that easy for me to sit on! I DID finally become starter than the ball however...watch!

Streakin!

Well, I got lucky and got away from Mommy and didn't have to put my diaper back on. Man life without a diaper is a WHOLE new experience! Now I know why my cousin Lucie is SOOOO smart! I don't want diaper on anymore at all! I mean come on..look at how much fun I had!

** hey wait...I only thought Mommy had pictures...not a video too! This is blackmail mommy!**

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?

Because I sure am! Yes, that is correct folks...even ALL THE WAY in Virginia, I am cheering on the purple and gold. Nana Judy bought me this outfit because the one I had last year didnt' fit anymore. Daddy doesn't think this one will fit for long, but it will make it through the season. I wore that cheerleading outfit with pride but they still weren't able to pull out a win over the Packers. CHEESEHEADS? I mean COME ON! Anyway...the uniform is clean after the bye week, so I am ready for this Sunday. Go VIKINGS!

Dance Dance Revolution

Yes...that is true folks...there is NOTHING that gets me movin like good old ELMO!

Growth Chart

Well, I finally got into the doctor for my 15 month appointment. I got shots yesterday and because of it Mommy and I are home from daycare and work today because my fever was pretty high. BUT...I found out I was in the 75% for weight at 26.5 pounds and in the 95% for height (Daddy says..go figure!) because I am 32.5 inches tall. That is almost 3 inches since I turned a year old! WOW...I am flyin! No wonder some of my jeans are too short...Mommy calls them "high waters" whatever those are! Anyway, Mommy said I could put up some of the pictures that we had taken at the beginning of September in case you didn't have a chance to see them from the site I left you directions to. Hope you like them!

OH!! And Mommy wanted me to tell both my sets of grandparents...she has pictures for you she just stinks at getting them to you!

Jumpin time

Well....I TRIED at least!

I will get it one of these days!

Play time

So...I needed some straws...give me a break!

Sneak Attack

Isaiah and I always have fun...but here was chasin me and I couldn't stop laughin and goin back for more!

Dress up time

I LOVE to be silly and I am not even sure how this all started, but my skirt kept falling down and so I got someone to take it off for me....BUT THEY PUT IT ON MY HEAD!!! It actually looks pretty cute! lol

The back view as I ran away from Mommy's camera.
I know I looked funny because Mommy was laughin so hard! So then I started dancin around acting all silly. But it was stuck on my head! I had to have Mommy help me get it off; I couldnt' do it alone.

Having fun with Isaiah

Isaiah and I have a blast all the time. I think that I tend to get on his nerves at times, but overall we have a good time. If he is playing his video games I want to be there playing with him so I sit on his lap. Sometimes it is okay...other times it bothers him. Yet, here I am sitting with him so that I can play his game with him.

Feeding Frenzy

WOW did I have fun eating macaroni and cheese the other day. I had it everywhere! But man was it good! I also am just like my Auntie Robin...I LOVE bread! Check out my slide show!

You can then view the pictures that we took today. That is all for me for now. I officially have everything up on the blog that Mommy has taken. I will get her back on the camera and take more...I promise. Nana says she wonders where I got my attitude from...and then she always laughs...so you KNOW I will be persistant with Mom to get more pictures for you all. Have a great week! LOVE YOU! TT

Dancing Machine

Well, my friend, Isaiah, has a drumset. When he plays his drumset....I LOVE IT! He is MIGHTY talented I must tell you...so please enjoy the entertainment...I know that I did. Please ignore my mommy laughing at me...she has the chainsaw laugh/snort that comes out. I usually don't like it..it scares me. However, I was loving the music so much it didn't matter.

My Mommy and I

Mommy's cousin, Jess, took this picture of us when we were in Minnesota and visiting them all in Fargo. I love this picture of my mommy and I so I had to put it up for you all to see.

My Cousins

Once again...great time with my cousins. Man I miss them when they arne't around.

Here is also one of me and my cousin Gavin...but he was tired and so was I...so we look crabby!

At the beach

Lucie and I got a real treat when I was in Minnesota. Mommy, Auntie Licia and Nana took us to Elk Lake! Mommy said she used to go to that lake all the time and she usually rode her bike out there. It was fun but I wasn't so sure about the rocks in the water. We even got to swing when we were all finished in the water, it was a great time!

Fun times in MN

So, as I said...Mommy and I were in MN and man did we have fun. I have tons of pictures for you, and I am just going to add them in and see how you enjoy them. I have more videos for you too, but those are coming soon. Hope you like my pictures. Miss you all!

Aiden Lee

Yes, I know that most of the family has already seen pictures of Mr. Aiden...but I got to spend time with him and I wanted to show you how cute he is too. Just in case you aren't sure who the new baby is...he is my COUSIN! Well, actually I am not sure HOW is related other than his mommy, Jess, is my mommy's cousin. So, we are related somehow. Mommy says it is confusing and all I need to know is the we both have Swanson blood in us...whatever THAT means! Oh and DON'T tell Mommy's cousin, but I got to get kisses from her hubby and Aiden's daddy, Kelvin.

Whipped Cream

No explanation needed.

Corn on the cob

Not long after Mommy and I went on a vacation to New York with friends, then Mommy and I got on a plane and flew to see Nana and Papa in Minnesota. Man did I have a fun time. I got to see all my cousins and some of Mommy's friends and had TONS AND TONS of time with Nana and Papa. I like spending time with them because I don't get to see them as much as I get to see Granny and Grandpa Gant. When I was there, Nana made corn on the cob and I really really wanted it. Mommy wouldn't let me have it and so I just kept fussin, till Papa gave in to me. Now, big deal right? Corn on the cob....BUT....I only have 4 teeth! So, I did a darn good number on that corn! Take a look for yourself.

So my Mommy sucks!

We have been SOOO busy since I turned one because I keep Mommy running all over, but man...nothing since JULY? What is up with that Mom? Anyway, we finally have pictures for you, so please enjoy the news about me. I went on a trip with Mommy, Josie, Isaiah, Tina, Nicholas and Christopher. We drove 7 hours up to New York to Josie's house and we got to see hotair balloons! It was so neat! We had a lot of fun there and the only part I didn't like was the long car ride. I started to get pretty tired of sitting in the car about 5 hours in. Otherwise we got to see lots of balloons and I got to play on the rice table

and I learned how to put marbles in this little hole and watch them go down the tray. I also learned how to come down stairs when I was there. Luckily they only had 2.

Climbing the stairs

Well...it has started. I am moving all over...and because of that I am into everything. I LOVE the stairs. Who knew how much fun they could be? I only wish that I knew what to do when I got to the top! I just sit there..I get bored. I have to wait until Mommy comes to get me so I can start all over. I KNOW there has to be a way to get down because I have found ways to get off the couch, like sliding down face first, feet first, on my back, or simply falling off...but the stairs..they are a little higher....kinda scary! Suggestions my walking friends??
Then on my birthday I was at my Granny and Grandpa's and I started to go crazy on their steps! Just watch!

New toys

Well, I have been crawling for about 2 weeks now and I have followed Mommy into the kitchen many many times in those 2 weeks. But for some reason I didn't have ever see these really cool videos on the shelf. I mean I had to pass them everytime I went to the kitchen to see Mommy! For some reason I finally realized they were there! Man did I have fun fun

Sleepin T

Now that I am busy doing all this crawling...man am I a tired little girl! I just go and go and go and sometimes I don't realize how tired I am until I just crash. Mommy of course has had to capture that. Let me tell you though, I LOVE this new crawling thing. I have had rug burns on my poor little knees and feet but hey, no pain no gain! They healed and are fine now. My knees are tough! I am even walking around the furniture now. I will have to ask Mommy to video that too.

Mommy SWEARS she didn't do this with puppy and I did it...but I have my suspicions!
