OOOHHH...CHECK IT OUT!
Make sure you look CLOSELY at the picture of me in the Balancing Act pose on Daddy..look at the television in the back...DO YOU NOTICE ANYTHING? COME ON PEOPLE...LOOK VERY CLOSE! The Minnesota Gophers game against Northwestern was on TV on ESPN 2 out here so we got to watch...how funny is that?? Just thought I would point that out to everyone...so go check it out!
WHITE STUFF!

Well, Mommy was pretty excited on Sunday morning...all this crazy white stuff was fallin from the sky! Mommy wasn't sure it would stay or not, but it did it did! It was pretty to watch falling from the sky. Mommy propped me up in the couch so I could STAND and look out the window.

After a little while Mommy went outside to get some snow! Here she is looking in the window at

Mommy brought it in for me to play with...it was VERY cold...but I had fun with it. Mommy put it in her hand...and I touched it...took a good chunk of it...and quickly dropped it on the couch

Balancing act

I told you in a few posts ago...I am getting very good at balancing myself and using my tummy to keep me in the place I want to be. I told you about sitting on Daddy's chest. Well, I did that tonight and Mommy took my picture. Of course I had to have Daddy's glasses again because when he is around those are my favorite play toy. So, he let me take them off his face and of course I was chewing on them! So, even though it might be hard to see...look closely...I am sitting up right by Daddy's face! He wasn't holding me either!

Excercise Time

Even though it LOOKS like I was chilling out for Mommy and Daddy, I was actually working on toning up my thighs. See...here is how it works:
First I was sitting up in the corner playing with my toys and then I wanted to chew on my aligator's tail, so I started to slide to the side...and just decided I'd chill there for a little while. Mommy thought it was pretty funny and had to get the camera out. I was just relaxin...what's the big deal. While I was there however, I decided that maybe I could get in a few leg lifts, so here was the first one.

As you can tell however, my form needs a little work. It might have been the angle I was at on the couch, but anyway you look at it. I need a little work on it. So after 1 I had to rest again. So that was here...

And then Mommy helped me reposition a little and I got a GREAT leg lift up and I did a few more repetitions after that. I had a great

Just in Case you were worried...
More music

As I showed you in a blog not to long ago, I LOVE to make music by pounding on bags. Well, I just LOVE to make noise. Look out later folks...who knows WHAT type of racket I will come up with! Anyway, I love to play with plastic bags. Now, don't worry...Mommy is always right beside me when I am playing with it so that I don't get hurt by it. So no worries Granny and Nana...it is okay! However, let me tell you...I am the next PLASTIC BAG MUSICIAN!!

My toes

Well, I have new toys again! This time they are attached to my legs! I LOVE MY TOES! I play with my toes, I try to suck on my toes, I pull on my toes, and now I pull my socks off my feet so that I can play with my toes. They are great! I continue to discover new things every day. Mommy and I play all the time and I can balance while sitting on Daddy's chest! I will have to make sure Mom takes a picture of that. Casue even I am impressed with that one! Oh the fun of being 7 1/2 months old!

The growing continues
The BOUNCER

So, I was getting a little fussy when I was at Nana and Papa's and so Papa brought up this new jumper that I had never seen before. Mommy and Daddy don't have one like this but I thought it was pretty amazing. Papa put it in the doorway into the family room at their house...and in I went.

Seeing the Fam

Well, while I was home with Mommy I got to see all my aunties and uncles. Even though, I dont' have a picture of me with Uncle Scotty! How did that happen Mommy?? I don't have any of me with Cousin Lucie either..what were you DOING at home Mommy? Sheesh, you'd think she'd have this camera thing down by now. It should never be far away from her with as much as I change! Here I am with those that love me.

A new cousin

I have a new cousin! Her name is Abigayle Rose Swanson. Isn't that cool? She and I have the same middle name! I know that people might think that is a little strange, but Mommy said that my middle name is actually Auntie Kimmie's middle name too and she is Cousin Abby's Mommy.

Another Milestone

Mommy keeps talking about these "milestones." I am still not sure what they are, but they must be important because then she tells me I am growing up so fast...people I am NOT that old sheesh! Anyway, I have accomplished sitting up by myself now! I am still not as good as my cousin Lucie on it, but she is older, so at least I know that I will get better at it. I still get tired sometimes and start to flop forward on my tummy. But, I am able to play on the floor a lot more now and love to reach out and grab my toys! Mommy does still put pillows around me on the floor because I do have the tipping factor down pat...I reach a little too far to my left and BOOM over I go. I turn my head too quick to see Mommy and BOOM over I go. So, just to cushion my fall I get pillows...but I think it is pretty funny when I tip over. I laugh and laugh. Mommy starts laughing at me too because I will giggle and giggle and she isn't even doing anything to me!

When I was home in Minnesota with Mommy, we went to her friend Missy's house. You remember them...I had pictures of Bo and Anna with me back when I was super little.

I have LEGS!

Yes, I know that sounds silly for me to say. Of COURSE I have legs, but I didn't KNOW that I could actually use them and now...I LOVE TO STAND ON THEM! When Nana and Papa were here I started to stand all the time, and now...I fall asleep standing on my legs. Well, of course my head is resting on Mommy's shoulder when I do that...but I am still standing! Daddy even has me standing on the floor to get my little feet used to the way that feels. I am not quite sure about taking steps yet though. I am pretty content with just...standing! However, after all that standing, I simply need a break. That wears a girl out!

Move over Rikki Rocket!

Here comes Trinity! The next great drummer! I LOVE to pound pound pound. I love to hear everything make noise. It can krinkle, crunch, rattle, shake, bang or thud and I love the way it sounds. My favorite are chip bags. They krinkle the best of them all. However, I am willing to work with anything that makes noise...I am sure I will make money on one of my new drums!
First pictures

Well, you will soon be getting your Christmas pictures from Mommy. Yes, I know they are late, but with all the travel and hurry we had to do we just didn't get them out in time. I hope you all understand. Plus, we needed to wait for the pictures to come in. I think they were worth the wait don't you?
I'm sorry!
