Christmas Pictures

So Mommy and Daddy both took me for my Christmas pictures yesterday. I wasn't the most cooperative at first. I didn't want to stand by the tree and kept following Mommy around the studio. Even if Mommy left I wouldn't smile no matter what the silly lady or Daddy did. I think they got a few pictures, but I wasn't in the smiling mood.

Then Mommy changed my clothes and I guess that was what I needed, because we went into the next room with a new silly photo lady and I was smiling like crazy. We got lots of good pictures in there. Then the silly lady kept calling me a Diva...I don't even know what that means. But everytime she said it to me I turned around and looked at her! So, I KNEW she was talking about me! :) It was a long night, we were there for over 3 hours! I was very tired when I got home and Mommy put me right to bed...but Mommy says the pictures were worth it...what do you think??

Riding on the pony

Daddy took me to another pumpkin patch and I got to ride on a little horsey! I was so excited...until I got on it. I didn't want to get off the horse, but I wasn't letting go of Daddy either. There was NO way I was riding that thing without Daddy right next to me. I did it...but I held on TIGHT to Daddy.

Beauty Day at Daycare

So, Miss Kelly asked Mommy if we could have beauty shop day at daycare. Mommy said of course and so look what I look like now! Miss Kelly said it only took about 20 minutes to straighten my hair. I was a very good girl and sat very still and love my new hair. Mommy said she cried cause I look so grown up and she loves my curls. I like my straight hair because I can brush it and it doesn't hurt! Mommy said that some days we can do it, but it is going to stay curly cause she just loves them too much. But even Mommy had to admit I looked pretty cute with straight hair!

Weekend Fun

So Mommy lets me go on the weekends and not have to get dressed or anything...so I am usually pretty comfy. Mommy tells me I usually look crazy. Of course she always wants to take pictures. I love weekends because I find tons of things to do to keep me busy, or get in trouble as mommy says. She's so silly. Don't my hands look pretty?

The Counting Giraffe

Still in my Halloween costume I just kept talking and wanted Mommy to record me, so here I am counting again. I was counting fast because I'm smart that way! :) Yet, Mommy said I skipped some numbers, I don't think she knows what she's talkin about.

Halloween Practice Time with Daddy

Daddy came over Sunday morning and I had to show him my giraffe costume for Halloween. I loved it and Daddy and Mommy thought it was cute so I got to wear it a long time. I was in a very talkative mood! Check it out!

Pumpkinville Slide

A great day at the pumpkin patch

I Am Pretty

I LOVE LOVE being pretty. I love makeup, lipstick, smelling good and I absolutely LOVE fingernail polish. Mommy says I don't sit still long enough for it to dry when she polishes them for me. She says I get it all over everything, but I really don't think she is right. Anyway, Mommy wouldn't paint them for me, so I painted them myself. Aren't they pretty? I think they are beautiful!

Samuel Douglas' Baptism

While Mommy and I were home we went up to Fargo to see Cousin Lucie and my new Cousin Sam. Lucie is lucky to have a little brother as cute as Sammy is. I ask Mommy where Sam is all the time. When we were in Fargo to see them we got to stay overnight with Mommy's Cousin Jess and Kel and their family. I had fun with Aiden. Then we got to go to Sam's baptism. Here are pictures from that day too.
This is Mommy, Sam and Aaron.

Swimming Lessons

Well, on Thursday Mommy told me that we got to go swimming.
I LOVE to go swimming. It is so much fun. What Mommy didn't tell me was that I would be at a HUGE pool with lots of other kids and we were going to have a teacher named Miss Rachel to teach us how to swim like big kids! I loved it. Daddy didn't have to work, so he came to watch me swim and he took pictures of me with Mommy. Daddy is going to take me sometimes too, but tonight Mommy was in the water with me. I didn't want to get out. I wanted to stay and play more in the water. Mommy promised me that some time she would take me back there. But, I don't care what water I am in, just as long as I get to play. I love swimming!

Beach time with Nina and Papa

Samuel Douglas Swanson

I don't have pictures as of yet, but my brand new cousin has joined us! Uncle Scotty and Auntie Licia gave my cousin Lucie her new brother! Samuel Douglas was born on Wednesday June, 18 2008 at 2:19 in the afternoon. He was 7 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches long. I will add pictures when I can. But you can see him on Lucie's site at http://www.misslucie.blogspot.com/ Mommy was pretty happy. Can't wait to see you Samuel. I am already pretty good at saying your name! See you in about 4 weeks Cousin Samuel.

More pictures of my birthday.

I'm 2!!!

Yes, it is true...I am now officially 2 years old. I was VERY lucky because Nina and Papa came to see me for my birthday. They flew all the way out here from Minnesota just to see me! See...here I was helpin Papa put together a new cabinet for our dining room.

We had a Princess birthday party and I had all sorts of family with me. Nina and Papa were here like I said, and then my Granny and Papa Gant came, with my Auntie Robin, and my Great Auntie Vivian. Then of course Daddy was here too. It was great fun. I got tons of presents and I loved opening them all. And my cupcake was sooo yummy.

The Joys of a Water Bottle

I found the water bottle that Mommy uses on my hair every morning so she can actually comb through my curls. Mommy, didn't tell me no, so I had some fun. I was never really sure how the water came out of it until I picked it up and POW...I got sprayed! I just kept going. It was funny funny funny. I loved it! Mommy had FAR too much fun laughing at me.

Shhh...Quiet

My Easter Dress

Granny bought me this Easter dress...I looked very cute, but I was giving Mommy attitude that morning...hmmm IMAGINE THAT!

March in Minnesota

Mommy and I hopped on a plane again to see Nina and Papa in March. It was a lot of fun to get to see all my cousins again. We were only there for about 4 days, but it was a fun trip. I got to see Lucie, Gavin, and Abi and then I got to see Mommy's cousin Jess, and her husband Kelvin and their baby Aiden! Mommy's cousin Randy and Michelle came with Cassie and Ray too. We had a ton of pepole around the table. It was a lot of fun. I of course HAD to give kisses as we were leaving!
